Introduction to Limestone Crusher:
Limestone crusher (roll crusher) is a relatively old-fashioned crushing equipment. The structure of the roll crusher is simple, and there is less excessive crushing phenomenon. The tooth shape, size, and arrangement on the roll surface can be changed according to the material properties. It can crush medium hard and soft ores in a medium to fine manner. Working principle of limestone crusher |
The limestone crusher (roller crusher) drops the crushed material into the space between two rollers through the feeding port for squeezing and crushing, and the finished material naturally falls down. When encountering hard or unbreakable materials, the rollers of the limestone crusher (roller crusher) can automatically retract by the action of hydraulic cylinders or springs, increasing the gap between the rollers and causing the hard or unbreakable materials to fall, thereby protecting the machine from damage. The two rollers rotating in opposite directions have a certain gap, and changing the gap can control the maximum discharge particle size of the product. The double roll crusher uses a pair of circular rollers that rotate in opposite directions, while the four roll crusher uses two pairs of circular rollers that rotate in opposite directions for crushing operations. |
2. Adjustment of discharge particle size: A wedge-shaped or shim adjustment device is installed between the two rollers, and the top of the wedge-shaped device is equipped with an adjustment bolt. When the adjustment bolt pulls up the wedge block, the wedge block pushes the movable roller wheel away from the fixed wheel, that is, the gap between the two rollers increases, and the discharge particle size increases. When the wedge block is lowered, the gap between the two rollers of the movable roller wheel decreases under the action of the compression spring, and the discharge particle size decreases. The gasket device adjusts the particle size of the discharge by increasing or decreasing the number or thickness of gaskets. When adding gaskets, the gap between the two rollers increases, and when reducing gaskets, the gap between the two rollers decreases, resulting in a smaller discharge particle size. |
